Felt Flower slipcovers

For this past Autumn, I decided that I was to start undertaking making pillow slip covers for my sun porch. The first set of pillow covers made were heather-ed tan base covers, with burnt caramel and yellow flower patterns adorning them. The original tutorial for the pillows followed a simpler pattern, which came from Sewing Gossip featured this craft tutorial, which they original saw created by Alison of Cluck Cluck Sew , who writes craft blogs for V and Co.. The tutorial was divine, but the more I began laying the flower petals out, the more that ended up on the final product. The end product for me was fantastic! I was greatly pleased, and this project was the inspiration for the other items of that season, such as the wreath above my hanging swing. The materials for the project, for me, cost under fifteen dollars for the four slips covers, and a little over two hours to make them; keep in mind that the pillow forms were already on hand for me, but cost nine dollars each, and were 18×18″ in size.

These were great pillow forms, and I was greatly pleased to make them!
